Hi! We went over to our neighborhood to meet with the mortgage broker and saw that we had several special deliveries! Our bricks were delivered! And, the sidewalk from the driveway to the house was also poured, so that was exciting.
But what was most exciting was when, after our meeting, we wanted to drive by again (just because we were right there), and saw that our drywall was actually being delivered right then. Getting to see it happen was so cool-- they had that big giant truck with all of the supplies: drywall, compound, etc.--and its big arm went right into the garage where there was a guy taking the pieces of drywall out. Even the guys framing our neighbor's house stopped to watch. It was really cool to be able to see it happen!
Special delivery: drywall!
From another angle
Here's the front of our house. You can see all the bricks, what looks like mortar mix, and drywall going into the garage. You can also see our sidewalk from this view.
The builder is really good at not delivering things until they day before they'll be used, and nothing was there last night! So, we are thinking that they will start using all of these supplies tomorrow and we will be moving into the "drywall" phase.
So, more pics as things keep moving! I can't wait to go by again tomorrow night and see what's changed! :)
