Well, we made it to the house tonight to check out the progress despite impending thunderstorms (which never came), and a sick kitty today (let's just say my day involved lots of paper towels and spot shot. You're welcome).
Side shot of the front entry way. I know this is tough to make sense of, but that little step up that you see is where our front door will be.
They have completely framed in the walls-- or almost. We can now clearly see where each room is going to be and all the doors, windows, closets, etc. The only thing we aren't sure about is the door for the master bathroom-- we couldn't find that. That sounds funny doesn't it?
View from the front door. When this is done, you will be able to see straight back to the back door.
Frame in for the pantry on the back wall of the kitchen.
Overview of the work from the back corner of the dining room.
Framed in doorways.
I love the look of the sky through the framed ceiling-- who knows, tomorrow we may not be able to still see the sky!
Ammo we found on the ground. I did not take a picture of the crushed up Sprite can on the side of the garage.
Sunset through our frame :)
Hubs enjoying exploring the frame. You can see that the house across from the street has slab, and the one next to it on the left will be slabbed soon.
Street view of the frame looks pretty similar to yesterday except that there is a LOT more going on inside today. Still lots of boards to go, but they are making fast progress!
I also wanted to include a quick video (above)of what it actually looks like since we will most likely never see it again the way it exists today. It's shaky, but I think it's fun and I want to share it with all of you.
We should get back again tomorrow, so you can expect another update then! :)
