Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to our family blog, where we will share our adventures as we move cross-country from upstate New York to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are newlyweds - we just got married May 25 last year - and will be relocating to Baton Rouge so Mike can officially start his career as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at LSU. We have a mischievous cat named Dora whom we adopted nearly a year and a half ago who will be making the trip with us, 20+ car ride and all.

We wanted to start this blog to share our adventure, as this is a pretty exciting time for us. Here, we hope to share stories (you know we'll have some good ones), photos and otherwise, just what we're up to as we go through this process. So, we hope you'll join us for what will be an unforgettable time in our lives!
